Holistic..
That is a word I keep seeing more and more each day, but it is also a word that is often misused. True holistic healing is a full body approach. It is NOT about how many supplements can I take.
True holistic healing is 3-fold:
Spiritual health: connection to oneself, your sense of purpose, having meaning in your life.
Mental health: overall well-being, thoughts, feeling and emotions. How well we handle streets, relate to others and make good choices. Unheralded Trauma will create mental and health problems such as anxiety, depression, digestive issues, and many others. You can’t completely heal your digestive system until you heal all traumas.
Physical health: a lot of times these things subside when the other two are healed. This is where we look at your overall health, including how well your organ function, muscle strength, flexibility, nutrition, exercise sleep hygiene, and disease prevention.
The body is a complex system, but it can be a beautiful thing as well. True healing comes from addressing all of 3 of these, not just one. The goal is balance. The goal is to reach homeostasis within the body.
Herbal supplements (any supplements) are meant to support a weakness or imbalance in the body. Once that is achieved, we stopped taking them.
